First of all I want to talk about Cero Pobreza, an amazing group of people who decided to give part of the lives helping others, mainly with building projects.

In 2017 Mexico suffered a terrible earthquake, sadly a lot of communities were affected by this natural disaster, the last year Cero Pobreza was working in a community called San Miguel La Toma. They were building a few houses for people whoe lost almost everything, mainly where to live and a school library. I was contacted by a friend of mine who invited my to design a mural for the library.

"When you read you can go to other world" it was the main message that I wanted to trasnmit to the kids. The mural is a representation of a space whale, I decide to use the whale as a peace symbol, and the space as a reference of what you can reach if you follow your dreams. Inside the whale you could find the Centaurus constelation, the legend of the centaurus Quirón talks about the knowledge and what represents, I truly reccomend to read it. Also you could find the shape of the country(México) inside the whale.
