T1 — Website Builder Platform

T1 — Website Builder Platform

Role:
UX/UI Designer → Product / Project Manager

T1 is a digital commerce ecosystem that includes logistics, payments, marketplaces, and website creation tools. My work focused primarily on T1 Pages, the website builder that enables businesses to create and manage their online presence and e-commerce stores.

I initially joined T1 as a UX/UI Designer, working directly with clients such as Pirma, Cruz Azul, Mazatlán FC, and Second Story, designing responsive, brand-driven websites focused on conversion, storytelling, and usability.

Later, I was promoted to Project / Product Manager for the Site Builder platform. In this role, I led the end-to-end UX of the product, defining the template architecture, editing capabilities, onboarding flows, and overall user experience. I coordinated cross-functional teams (UX/UI, front-end, back-end, and AI specialists), translated business needs into product requirements, and ensured alignment between design, development, and strategy.

I also led the integration of AI-powered features (AWS, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) to automate content generation, image creation, and accelerate template production—significantly improving scalability and delivery speed.

Methodology

Product discovery: defined user needs, business goals, and core use cases by analyzing real merchants using the T1 Pages platform and their existing websites.

Market & template strategy: conducted benchmark studies and reviewed a large set of customer websites to identify patterns, vertical needs, and opportunities to create scalable templates covering the widest possible market.

System & template design: structured modular templates, sections, and components to ensure scalability, consistency, and reuse across industries and business types.

UX & UI execution: designed user flows, editor experiences, and high-fidelity interfaces focused on conversion, usability, and efficiency, both for templates and for the editor itself.

Agile delivery: led the product evolution using a Scrum-based workflow with weekly sprints, planning on Mondays and delivery on Fridays.

Cross-team coordination: translated business requirements into product specs, aligned design, front-end, back-end, and AI teams, and ensured continuous improvement of the platform and its template ecosystem.
